“My name is Tyler Brockington and I’m a procrastinator.” Phew, there, I said it! Now that’s off my chest, I want to share with you some tips I picked up to help me stay on top of things this semester.

  1. POST-IT NOTES. I had to put it in all caps because these little buddies are life-savers. Just place them in a highly visible area with whatever important tasks you need to remember. If it takes a neon-yellow sign to help you study, so be it.
  2. Phone Alarms. I’m addicted to setting alarms on my phone. Pretty much any time I have anything with a due date I set an alarm for it, name it, then relax until I hear it go off! But, no snoozing!
  3. Buy a Planner. Just do it. And no, using your phone doesn’t count. There’s something about flipping through pages and writing down due dates that keeps me from forgetting important dates. Plus, planners are easily available and there are tons of styles to choose from.

Let us know on Facebook, Twitter, and in the comments  if any of these tips help you curb your procrastination problem! And feel free to tell us if you’d like to see more!
